PACIFIC RESIDENT THEATRE
CONSERVATORY  MISSION STATEMENT

Pacific Resident Theatre is a company of theatre artists, an ensemble of actors, writers and directors who create together. In this spirit, the PRT Conservatory was formed to educate young actors in the art of collaboration and self discovery. The Conservatory’s mission is to provide a safe creative space for young actors to explore and flourish, where each individual voice is respected and encouraged, and where young artists are taught fundamentals of the actor’s craft. Through improvisation, voice and movement, scene study, storytelling and Shakespeare, Conservatory students build skills under the tutelage of Pacific Resident Theatre’s professional actors and directors.
