Dan Bonnel
was the Artistic Director of Arcade, (a workspace for theater
and media) from 1995- 2001.
As a freelance director in Los Angeles,
Dan has staged plays at Pacific Resident Theatre, Ensemble Studio
Theatre LA, the Matrix, the Met, Cornerstone, ASK Theater Projects,
Highways, and the HBO Workspace.
In 1997, Mr. Bonnell received the LA Weekly
³Directing Award² for Morphic Resonance at the Matrix
Theatre. He was nominated for the Theater LA Ovation ³Directing
Award² in 2002 for his production of And Still The Dogs
at Ensemble Studio Theater ­ The LA Project.
Prior
to Los Angeles, Mr. Bonnell was a Resident Company Director at
Circle Rep in New York and directed for regional companies across
the county including: Long Wharf, the Asolo, Atlanta's Alliance
Theater, Pioneer Theater Company, and the Bronfman Center in
Montreal.
