David Nathan
Schwartz is the Artistic Director of the Los Angles Jewish
Theatre.
As an actor at PRT he has appeared in many
productions including Three Sisters, Merry Wives of Windsor and
Lydee Breeze.
In the Co-Op he has directed, FIGURES and
LAST LINEN DAY.
He has directed many premier works For
Playwrights 6, a playwrights collective as well as at the Hudson,
Theatre East, Twenty-One Square Foot ,Celebration, Coast Playhouse
Lost Studio theaters.
With Los Angeles Theatre Sports, an improvisational
theatre company, he was a long time performer, director and teacher
and toured both nationally and internationally.
Acting at other Theatres Include: ACT, San Jose Rep, Theatre/Theater, Odyssey Theatre,
American Renegade Theatre, Two Roads, Theatre East, Actors Workout
Studio, Century City Playhouse, HBO Workspace, Theatre Of Note
and others.
He has performed and toured his penned
autobiographical one-man show, "MY BRAIN TUMOR: A Mind Expanding
Comedy", which won critical acclaim being named LAWEEKLY
THEATRE PICK of the WEEK.
Television
appearances include, ER, The Drew Carey Show, Touched By An Angel,
Roswell, Days Of Our Lives and The Tonight Show, and the Films,
I Am Sam and The Sweetest Thing.
He currently serves on the faculty of the
Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and the Hollywood
Acting Corps.
