Steve Spiro was born in London,
England. A former Amateur boxer. He studied Theater in the UK
before coming to LA on a boxing sponsorship. He met the renowned
acting coach Larry Moss who convinced him to quit fighting and
continue to study acting.
He won the Beverly Hills film
festival in the independent film "Absolution," and
BAFTA short list for the independent film WIPER.

The Blue Dahlia, The Caretaker, The Misanthrope, A Midsummer
Nights Dream, Breaking the Code, One Flea Spare, Bullies
& Blisters,
He is also a screenwriter and
in development with a project called WILD EAST to be filmed in
Romania and Bulgaria. He recently shot an "American Express"
commercial directed by Ron Howard.
Steve Spiro is a prominent animal
activist and is co-founder of S.T.A.R.T. An organization that
transports dogs from kill shelters in LA to new lives in Oregon,
