Bruce French was last seen at PRT as Anna’s father, the neglectful Chris Christopherson in “Anna Christie,” having previously played Lady Chatterley’s father, the randy Sir Malcolm Reid (and others) in Lady Chatterley’s Lover.

Currently he plays a father of another kind, the devout blind priest, Father Lonigan, in the NBC “daytime drama” Passions.

He has acted in numerous TV movies and more than a dozen feature films including Enough starring Jennifer Lopez and Mr. Deeds starring Adam Sandler.

This television season he has guest-starred in “The West Wing” and “Crossing Jordan.”

He has taken lead roles in plays at the Mark Taper Forum, Seattle Rep., and South Coast Rep.

His favorite role has been Lucky in the much acclaimed production of Waiting for Godot at the L.A. Actors Theatre, which was filmed for KCET’s Theatre in America series.
