Who would think such bad things could happen in such a beautiful place. But not everything dies with death. Secrets. Wishes. Regrets. Perseverance. Rage. Hope. Love

Mary Jo Deschanel has written about – and performs 7 women who in 1973 lived in the  cottages along the brackish Canals of Venice, California connected by quaint bridges, and funky unpaved alleys. Dogs roamed freely, ducks swam, the Santa Ana winds blew. But under the relaxed air of the balmy summer days, of course another current ran.   Untimely death.
