Elain Rinehart spent most of her career in NYC. She became a member of The Actors Studio where she did a lot of new plays and was fortunate to work with some wonderful people, like James Gandolfini and Christopher Walken. Worked in session for Lee Strasberg, Estelle Pasons, Ellen Burstyn, Elia Kazan, Harvey Keitel, Frank Corsaro, and others. She tained for many years with Mira Rostova. Was a member of Circle Rep Lab where she appeared in the original production of “Raft of The Medusa” by Joe Pintauro. Was a member of Manhattan PunchLine Theatre Co where she performed in sketch and stand up comedy as well as several one act comedy festivals. At Ensemble Studio Theatre she replaced Judith Ivey in “Dumping Ground”. Worked with Eileen Heckert and Michael Learned in “Pack of Lies”, toured with DAvid McCallumin “Run For Your Wife”, did “Educating Rita”, “Rumors” and several Agatha Christies in summer stock. Most recently she appeared in “Light Up The Sky” and “The Gamester” at Theater 40 in Beverly Hills. She trained in England at the Rose Bruford Academy of Speech and Drama, was given a scholarship to study with Grotowsky in Poland and went to high school and college at the NC School of the Arts.
