A comedy crossing the style and humor of Noel Coward with antics and situations of Feydeau. In order to test her lover's suitability for marriage, a wealthy woman takes her poor suitor "on approval" to Scotland for a month so that they can live together as "husband and wife." The fun begins when another couple joins them, with plans of their own. The results are both hilarious and ironic. This rendition at Pacific Resident Theatre celebrates the 75th anniversary of the play's first production at London's Fortune Theatre
